Tennis Court Construction and Resurfacing Kettering

4 tennis courts, muga surface

Here at Sovereign Sports, we provide tennis court construction and maintenance services to clients throughout Kettering and beyond. Thanks to our team’s extensive experience, we work with local councils, schools, homeowners and clubs to install all-weather tennis courts and sports surfaces to SAPCA and LTA standards.

Whatever the type of court or sports surface you are after, we offer free no-obligation quotes and impartial advice to help you make the right decision.

We are specialists in two key areas: constructing new courts and resurfacing pre-existing courts. Throughout Kettering, our tennis courts and MUGA surfaces are used everywhere – from schools and sports clubs, to family homes and council-run facilities. If you are interested in having a court installed at your building or property, we offer a no-obligation site visit to assess your existing surface or planned construction area, before discussing through with you what is required.

All-weather tennis courts are hugely popular and, in our experience, open textural porous macadam is one of the most commonly used surfaces. However, if this surface isn’t for you, we offer alternative tennis courts such as artificial grass and synthetic clay.

If you’re looking to use your surface for more than just tennis though, certain surfaces – such as synthetic grass – are perfectly suited to football, hockey and many other sports.

Tennis Court Resurfacing

We offer maintenance services for all existing tennis courts and sporting surfaces, since we know better than most how important specialist maintenance is to keeping surfaces in good condition.

So, what exactly do we do? We sweep courts clean of all leaves, litter and debris; we power wash open textured surfaces to ensure they remain moss-free and non-slippery; and we freshen up synthetic grass surface with a specialist brooming service. We also colour spray surfaces every five to six years to keep them looking in fantastic condition.

Another service we offer here at Sovereign Sports is the installation of retractable and static floodlighting for tennis courts. This may require planning permission depending on the height you want to place them at, but don’t worry – our team can walk you through the process.

Having effective floodlighting is especially important if you want your tennis court to be available on darker nights. Likewise, bespoke fencing, retaining walls, practice walls and almost any form of landscaping can each make your tennis court more playable, and are all additional options we offer.
